Lions' Update, May 2012

For those planning to attend Nationals, this is the last chance to pay for your USAFL membership dues before the price increases.

P.S. SCUBA is hosting a light 4-mile training run next Saturday, Meet at the Torrey Pines GLIDERPORT 10AM if you like, and see where the trails take you. Optional meal at the Gliderport then surfing/diving at Blacks after.

Last Day to Reserve Your Spot For Crawfish Boil

Today's the last day to pay to reserve your spot at this Saturday's Crawfish Boil at AJ and Steph's house.  $25 all you can eat and drink.  You must pay by midnight tonight via paypal.

We're taking this Tuesday (April 24) off from training.  See everyone at training Thursday night at North Clairemont at 7pm.

SCAFL Game - April 22

The San Diego Lions travel to Orange County to take on the Jets this Sunday. Game starts at 10am at Founders Park in Ladera Ranch. There will also be a SoCal women's co-ed game between San Diego and Orange County at 1pm following the second SCAFL game. So plan to stick around to watch the game or help fill in numbers for the game. This will mark the beginning of an exciting revival of women's Australian Football in Southern California.

Meet at the Del Mar Park and Ride (12791 Sorrento Valley Road, San Diego, CA 92130) at 8am to carpool to the game.

Crawfish Boil - April 28

The Lions' Crawfish Boil is back by popular demand! All the crawfish you can eat and all the beer you can drink for just $25. The crawfish have to be ordered in advance and flown in from Louisiana, so you must pay in advance so we have an accurate idea of how much to order. Please pay by midnight on Wednesday April 25 at the paypal link below.

Lions' April Update

CLUB DUES: Reminding all players, if you haven't already, Lion's dues are $120/yr. and can be paid in two $60 installments or in full. Use the "Join the Club" tab on the website to pay online by PayPal, or contact Lions Treasurer, Jim Boyer at Practice. (Note: Dues for first half of the year are past due)


Those who plan to go to Nationals 2012 in the Fall, should pay USAFL dues this month, only $40 until April 30th. Brandon Blankenship is the USAFL Western VP, lets show support. Here is the link: http://www.usafl.com/rego
