March 7, 2015 - 12pm

This is the day every year, the Lions get together to reconnect, welcome some new faces and start to get ready for the upcoming season. Join us for a great afternoon filled with Jan's homemade meat pies, libations and good cheer.

SPRING 2015 SCHEDULE

The San Diego Lions announce its 2015 Spring Schedule. Kicking off our season with the World Famous Pie Day event on March 7, We'll see the return of the popular CO-ED and METRO Footy leagues, and move into the summertime with the Western Regional Tournament in Davis, CA on June 27. Don't forget the social events as well!
Some of the more important dates are listed below.

MARCH 7 - SEASON KICKOFF Training at Belmont Park - 9:30am

MARCH 7 - SEASON KICKOFF PIE DAY! At the Bitmead's 12pm-5pm

MARCH 13 - CO-ED Footy begins In Mira Mesa at 7pm-8:30pm (Register Here)
MARCH 25 - LIONS NIGHT AT THE MOVIES - Ultrastar, Hazard Center (Evening)
APRIL 8 - MID WEEK Training begins - Doyle Elementary - 6pm-8pm (Wednesdays)

APRIL 11 - METRO Footy proposed start - Doyle Elementary - 10am-12pm

APRIL 18 - FAMILY DAY at Metro Footy (Details to come)

MAY 9 - CRAWFISH BOIL! Following Metro Footy (Details to come)

For our last matches of the season, we will be traveling to OC to take on
the LA Dragons and Golden Gate Roos. 

Our games are at 11am and 1pm.

If you search this on Google maps it takes you to the Golf Course. Enter only the address and not the name of the place and I think will get you what you need.

Lions at OC 8/16/14

Saturday August 16, 2014 at 10am

The Lions will travel to Orange County once again to take on the
OC Bombers in a hit-out that will challenge both sides.
The Lions have improved each time they've met the Bombers this season
and this test will be no exception.

Travel Details for this Saturday in Orange County:

The carpool/caravan will meet at the car park in Carmel Valley at 8am

Sacramento Match August 2

Our first visit to Sacramento will consist of a Women's match at 10am and
The Lions vs Suns full match will start at 11:30am.

Lions to battle the LA Dragons July 19 in Riverside

Saturday, July 19 at 10am

We will be traveling to Riverside to play the Dragons.

We will meet at the Mira Mesa Park 'n Ride

on the west side of I-15 on Mira Mesa Blvd

at  7:30am to arrive at the ground by 9am.

Please advise Brando if you will be making the trip or not.

Brewery Tour - Juicy Details!

Pick-up point:  

July 12, 11:00am at Miller's Field: 4465 Mission Blvd, San Diego, CA 92109,  

If you want to grab some food or a pre-emptive beer then stop by a little earlier.

Drop-off point:  

Miller's Field, 430 pm.

Bring:  

$30 cash for the bus, 

Cash for beers at the breweries

 iPod if you want to play DJ on the bus

We will provide: 

a bus, some beers for the bus

The route:

 Breweries are still in the final stages of planning, but we are going to be hitting at least a few new breweries this time.
