REMINDER: Pub crawl tomorrow

Just a reminder for the Pub Crawl tomorrow, Try and get to the Aussie Pub (Black Pearl) on Grand at 1pm.

Spring Player Dues ($50) Due March 11

Lions spring player dues ($50) must be paid by March 11 in order for players to participate in the Southern California Australian Football League (SCAFL)

Crawl on Saturday. Run (or crawl again) on Sunday. . .

. . . either way, please just come out!

Training Canceled Tonight (Feb 22)

Because of the rain over the weekend our Tuesday night training field has been closed. We'll make it up by scheduling a training session Saturday morning at 10am across the street from the roller coaster in Mission Beach. It will give us a chance to get a good run in before the pub crawl.

TUESDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

For the next 18-WEEKS, Lions will be training every Tuesday at North Claremont under lights. Plan carpools now.

The field is not visible from the street, go around back. (Note to self: bring gatorade)

Lion's Training Saturday

Next training is this Saturday, Feb. 12th, at 1:00PM at Dusty Rhodes Park, Ocean Beach. Jason and Leanne have invited the Lions to their house for another BBQ after training at 4pm. (Map to BBQ)

PB Pub Crawl and Aussie5K

AT 10:30 AM, the following morning, Sunday, Feb. 27th, the Lions' Board invites you to wear your new Lion's T-Shirts and support Australian Flood Relief:

Aussie 5K run: Powerhouse Park, Del Mar Beach.
10:00 AM - KIDS 1-mile fun run.
10:30 AM - Adult 5K
11:30 AM - Traditional Australian BBQ, drinks, awards, raffles, silent auctions, live music.

You can register online, suggested donation is $25.

In the end we had 30 blokes out to run, and one woman.




Thanks to everyone who came out to the Lions Training and BBQ this weekend. Good to meet you all, you made it a great day. Hope you aren't feeling it too much on Sunday.

Remember, next official training is 1PM, Saturday, Feb. 12th, and we begin Tuesday Night Practice under the lights at North Clairemont Recreation Center, 6PM on Feb. 15th.
