Lion's Update: SCAFL Round 6

The Lions have successfully locked in our TWELVE GAME 18-a-side Schedule for this fall.
Unlike our Metro-Season, most regular season game will be played at home in SAN DIEGO!

REGULAR SEASON 2011

Lions will kick off the Regular 18-a-side Season on JULY 9th, in Austin, TEXAS, playing two teams (Dallas Magpies, and Austin Crows).

Upcoming Expenses 2011 Season:

• Ball, if you've ordered a new SHERRIN via Coach Shaun Beattie, remember to bring a check to practice ($80).
• Uniforms: The Lions will be selling team uniform Polo-Shirt this Summer (MANDATORY for all regular season events). We will also be auctioning jumpers this year, for those who wish to purchase them as a keep-sake, with socks and shorts (Kit Cost approximately $80).
• To participate in the regular season each Lions Player must pay their final team dues by July 9th, 2011 ($50).
• NATIONALS: be aware that if you plan on attending US Nationals Tournament, you must also pay your USAFL Dues (ONLY $40 BEFORE APRIL 30, 2011).
• In addition to purchasing a plane ticket to Austin for our first two regular season games (Check Here for Southwest Airline Prices), if you plan to go to NATIONALS you will need a second ticket to Austin in October. (Remember to budget for hotel room & food $40/day)

(Note: SCAFL Metro-Season has been extended one extra week to make up for RAIN Games, see schedule, and April 24th, Crawfish Canceled, we will be re-scheduling social events for later this summer.)
